Recently, it is reported that a CCTV video camera was infected by malware by the attackers who apparently proceeded through the IoT means of the device. It is alleged that a software named as Mirai is used to attack the software of CCTV footage's. The data was infected and then hijacked for some immoral uses. This theft of data and breach of privacy and data leads to a severe question mark over the essential security concerns of the devices that are backed by the Internet of Things.

The recent assault and breach of data have evoked a lot of questions in the mind of common man, therefore, the IoT gadgets need to analyze how to stop the future assaults and breach of their private data and recordings.

One of the best solution found is to educate the people how the Internet of Things devices actually work and how they can prevent the abuse of the technology. The other point is that the security firms must undertake firm actions to protect the data and their privacy while keeping the devices innovative and bringing more ease to the lives of the common man.
